Ben Gvir AND his son under threat of terrorists

Exposed: Plan to assassinate Ben Gvir uncovered

A cell of four Hamas-affiliated terrorists from the Hebron area was uncovered by the Shin Bet and police officers from the Judea and Samaria District, who had been plotting to assassinate National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir and his son Shoval.

According to the investigation, the terrorists had been gathering information about the minister's movements, security arrangements, and procedures. Their plan included targeting Ben Gvir at the site of an attack. Additionally, they intended to harm his son, Shoval Ben Gvir, who is an outspoken social media activist known for his criticism of prison conditions and the rules of engagement for counterterrorism operations.

The cell also tracked Shoval’s movements in Hebron, looking into whether he had security protection or was carrying weapons. Unable to acquire firearms, they attempted to build a car bomb and an explosive device in order to carry out the assassination.

The investigation led to the arrest of the suspects in northern Samaria. The case is now with the State Attorney’s Office, and an indictment is expected to be filed soon.

Hillel Biton Rosen reported that this was the fifth time the Shin Bet thwarted an assassination plot against Minister Ben Gvir. This time, the attack was escalated, with a Hamas cell targeting both Ben Gvir and his son. The arrested suspects have confessed during their investigation.
