On Tuesday, a US judge rejected Harvard University’s request to dismiss a lawsuit filed by Jewish students accusing the institution of allowing antisemitism to flourish on campus.

US District Judge Richard Stearns did not address the merits of the case but stated that the plaintiffs had made a plausible argument that Harvard’s response to incidents of antisemitism was insufficient.

He noted that the allegations presented in the lawsuit suggest that “Harvard failed its Jewish students” in addressing the reported issues.
