On Sunday, Donald Trump asserted that Vice President Kamala Harris will present a less challenging opponent in the November election compared to Democratic President Joe Biden, who had earlier stepped aside as his party’s candidate.
“Harris will be easier to beat than Joe Biden would have been,” Trump told CNN, expressing his belief that the race against Harris will be more favorable for him.
Trump and his campaign later took their critiques to social media, continuing to attack both Biden and Harris. On his Truth Social network, Trump lashed out at Biden, stating, “Biden was not fit to run for President, and is certainly not fit to serve,” while also labeling him as the “worst president” in U.S. history.
This vigorous criticism underscores Trump’s ongoing strategy to capitalize on Biden’s exit and prepare for a potentially easier contest against Harris.
