Hezbollah terrorist Khadr Al-Abed Bahja, responsible for overseeing drone activity in the region north of Lebanon's Litani River, was killed in airstrikes conducted by Israeli Air Force fighter jets on Tuesday, the IDF announced.
Bahja had been in charge of Hezbollah’s North Litani aerial unit, coordinating the launch of drones and rockets towards Israel.
Additionally, the IDF’s 228th Brigade, operating under the 91st Division, was conducting precision raids in southern Lebanon, targeting Hezbollah’s terrorist infrastructure.
During these operations, the brigade uncovered dozens of tunnel shafts and an extensive network of underground facilities used by the terrorist group.
Israeli forces have also eliminated dozens of terrorists and conducted over 100 airstrikes as part of the broader campaign. IDF troops from the 228th Brigade uncovered a hidden weapons cache within a residential building in southern Lebanon, further disrupting Hezbollah’s military capabilities.
