Responding to criticism that Israel was acting with too much restraint against Hezbollah, the Defense Minister said that he was following the cabinet decision to engage in current policy, even against his own views.

In the face of criticism from other ministers, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said today (Sunday) that a war with Hezbollah is "inevitable" but that it will only occur "in the far future" due to the government's current policy of restraint, according to Israel Hayom.

Gallant further said that he himself wanted a general war against Hezbollah but that the cabinet overruled him that they were now following the cabinet decision.
