Hostagesen. Barak Hiram, who stood accused by many of accidentally killing hostages held in a Beeri home during October 7, has reportedly been exonerated by an IDF inquiry, according to Channel 14 News.

Per the report as viewed by Channel 14, extensive evidence showed that the Beeri's assessment that the hostages were no longer alive was correct, and they had been shot at point blank range before his decision to fire a tank shell to kill the Hamas terrorists inside.

Hiram is expected to be promoted to head of the Gaza Division despite calls not to do so, now that his name has been cleared.
