Two airline companies have already announced their decision today (Wednesday) to return to servicing Israel, following the announcement of a ceasefire in the north, which removes the threat of missile attacks hitting planes or Ben Gurion Airport, according to Calcalist.

The Hungarian low cost company Wizz Air, which originally announced that it would stay away from Israel until 2025, said that it would gradually return to the country starting late December 2024, with a route from Tel Aviv to Cyprus operating four days a week.

The Azeri company AZAL also said that it would restart flights between Israel and Baku starting at the end of the month, on November 30, 2024.
