Kibbutz Sa'ad, which was evacuated with all the surrounding residents to the Nevo Hotel in the Dead Sea, decided to give an evening of appreciation to the hotel's employees and cook them a festive meal as a token of thanks for everything they have done for them in the past two months.
And so the religious kibbutz movement wrote: "A lovely reversal of roles! Yesterday an extraordinary lunch was held at the Nevo Hotel. The guests, the dear people of Saad, are the ones who bought the food and drinks and from the morning stood and cooked in the kitchen, designed the place and wrote down a detailed and varied menu.
"The guests of honor were all the employees of the Nevo Hotel! They received this as a sign of gratitude and appreciation for the warm and cordial hospitality that Sa'ad people receive from them, from all the staff members, from the manager to the last employee. Very moving!"
The whole evening revolved around the thanks given by the kibbutz people to the dedicated hotel employees, one of whom sang Boaz Sharabi's song: "Give your soul and heart, give when you love."
