Israel at war the 48th day. IDF Spokesman in Arabic Avichay Adraee mocks Hezbollah today for the quality of the organization's launches in this morning's rocket barrage to the north.
Hezbollah claimed that it fired 48 rockets towards the north in response to the killing of commanders in its Radwan force yesterday. The IDF admitted this morning to the launch of 35 rockets and now the reason also becomes clear - almost half of the shots landed inside Lebanese territory.
Adraee published the map of the launches as identified by the IDF systems and wrote: "A large number of rockets fired by Hezbollah fell inside the territories of southern Lebanon!"
"This morning Hezbollah fired a barrage of rockets at Israel, and this attack resulted in damage to the villages of al-Ramiish, Ein-Abel and al-Yaraon. The IDF's operational systems reveal that over 20 rockets failed and fell inside Lebanese territory."
Adraee added: "The operational systems of the IDF refute the claims of some Lebanese officials that the rockets fell on Lebanese territory due to their interception. Hezbollah fires rockets from civilian areas, some of which also fall in southern villages. There are Lebanese villages devoid of their inhabitants these days because of Hezbollah. The Lebanese did not celebrate Independence Day because of Hezbollah, whose actions also threaten Christmas celebrations."
Adraee added to the photos documentation from houses that were damaged in southern Lebanon and next to them a Katyusha rocket that landed between the houses.
We note that in Gaza - the rate of failed launches is about 12% for Hamas and for Islamic Jihad it is higher, and they are responsible for the failed launch that hit al-Maadi hospital and caused deaths in the second week of the war.
