The IDF has been fighting Hamas forces in the Zaytun neighborhood in Gaza, including many face to face encounters with terrorists in residential areas, hospitals, schools, and parks.
Soldiers of the 188th Brigade’s combat team took control of a number of central Zaytun Battalion objectives, including the office of the Gaza Brigade and the central HQ of the battalion. The forces searched the area, located many weapons, and ended by destroying the office:

In addition, IDF forces directed an air strike in the Zaytun neighborhood area and led to the elimination of terrorists. In the last few days, they discovered a rocket manufacturing laboratory, many weapons and bombs, a tunnel shaft, and also weapons and drones inside a mosque in the neighborhood.
Soldiers of the Infantry School combat team destroyed military targets of the Hamas terror organization in the Zaytun neighborhood, including a PIJ outpost for creating weapons containing heavy and long-range missiles, a lathe for terror purposes, and more. Tunnel shafts were destroyed, Hamas terror command posts taken, intelligence material teaching Hamas about IDF weapons was taken, and additional structures from which terrorists fired on the IDF were struck.
