Syrian media reported explosions in Sayyidah Zaynab, a town about 10 kilometers south of Damascus last night (Wednesday). According to the reports, the Assad army activated its air defenses and fired at an "enemy missile attack."

It was later claimed that Israeli warplanes hit three different locations in the district, including a military site on the outskirts of the Bila suburb that serves as the headquarters of the Iranian militias in Syria. It was also reported that ambulances were called to the scene of the attack.

This is the second time this week that an attack in Syria has been attributed to Israel, after two Hezbollah operatives were reportedly killed by a missile strike in the al-Kasir area. According to the report, the two terrorists were driving a civilian truck that was hit by a missile.
