The war in the south. The National Security Headquarters is calling on the public this evening (Sunday) to refrain from arrival and to leave the Middle Eastern countries that have received a travel warning.

From the headquarters, it was reported that "following the outbreak of the terrorist attack on Israel by Hamas, there is concern that the motivation of terrorist actors will increase, and they may carry out attacks against Israelis in various countries around the world.

"In light of this, we call upon Israelis, at this time, to carefully consider their planned trips abroad and to avoid, to the extent possible, traveling to countries that have received a travel warning, especially various Middle Eastern countries.

"Furthermore, against the backdrop of the attack in Egypt that occurred today (Sunday) in Alexandria, in which two Israeli citizens were killed, we recommend that those staying in Egypt, both in Cairo and in Sinai, shorten their stay and leave the country as soon as possible.

"In any case of staying abroad, and especially in countries with a high-level travel warning, it is advisable to follow all recommended safety measures (as detailed on the National Security Headquarters website) and minimize public exposure as much as possible.

"In addition, due to the unfolding events and developments, there may be increasing difficulty for Israelis to return to the country, primarily due to the reduction in foreign flights to Israel."
