IDF opens fire on suspects near Lebanon ceasefire line

Israeli forces respond to vehicles near southern Lebanon border.

The IDF announced a short while ago that its forces fired at suspects in vehicles approaching the ceasefire zone in southern Lebanon this morning (Thursday).

CeasefireSpokesperson's Office said in a statement: "In the last hour, the arrival of suspects, some with vehicles, to a number of areas in southern Lebanon, which constitutes a violation, was identified. IDF forces fired at them. The IDF is deployed in the area of southern Lebanon and enforces any violation of the ceasefire agreement."

Earlier, it was reported that the Israeli Air Force had carried out an unusual attack on a vehicle in southern Lebanon. According to reports, the attack was carried out by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) near the village of Markaba. In addition, there are reports of an Israeli tank firing a shell at the town of Al-Wazzani in southern Lebanon, apparently also firing restraint.
