The State Prosecutor's Office announced it would submit a prosecutor's declaration this morning (Thursday) to the Rishon LeZion Magistrate's Court against four suspects accused of firing marine flares near Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's private residence in Caesarea.

The suspects include Brigadier General (res.) Ofer Doron, Itai Yafeh, and Amir Sadeh. A court has prohibited the publication of the fourth suspect’s identity. The prosecution revealed there is sufficient evidence to file an indictment and plans to request the suspects' detention until the conclusion of legal proceedings.

Citing the extensive investigation material and the need for meticulous preparation of the indictment and detention request, the prosecution has requested a five-day extension of the suspects' detention. According to the National Crime Unit of Lahav 433 and the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet), the act was meticulously planned. Investigators allege Brigadier General Doron led the group, sourcing expired flares from a storage facility.

Searches conducted during the investigation uncovered additional pyrotechnic items. Authorities allege the suspects scouted the area to avoid security cameras, parked at a predetermined location, and then walked to the dunes about 150 meters from Netanyahu’s home.

Doron and Yafeh reportedly documented the event by photographing the flares. Following the operation, the group dispersed, seeking refuge in friends' homes in Caesarea. During their interrogation, they confessed to the act.

Police sources described the operation as "planned like a small military mission," underscoring the deliberate and coordinated nature of the incident.
