In response to the dismissal of Defense Minister Gallant by Prime Minister Netanyahu, dozens of protesters are currently blocking the Ayalon highways in both directions, with bonfires set on the road.

Protesters who took to the streets in response to the dismissal of Defense Minister Yoav Galant began blocking roads around the Kirya, and the Ayalon lanes were blocked in both directions.

The Night of Galant 2 is underway, dozens of protesters who made their way towards the Kirya in response to the announcement of Defense Minister Yoav Galant's dismissal have begun blocking roads in the Kirya area. According to reports from the field, dozens of protesters broke into the Ayalon lanes and blocked them in both directions.

Police response to the protests:

"We appeal to the citizens of Israel and the protesting public and ask - act responsibly and in accordance with the law."

Israeli police officers are present at protest sites across the country in large numbers, aiming to maintain public safety and order while balancing the legitimate freedom of protest with freedom of movement.

In their statement they announced, "We call on the protesting public to heed the instructions of the police on the ground and to act in a manner that does not endanger the safety of the protesters, the police, and road users. "

"The Israel Police view the right to protest as a cornerstone in a democratic state and will allow protests as long as they are conducted within the framework of the law. At the same time, the police will not allow any type of disorder or infringement on freedom of movement, and any behavior that could endanger public safety."

Central District police officers are currently addressing disturbances at several locations on Highway 4 and are emphasizing to the public of protesters and road users to act responsibly and in accordance with the law.

As part of the disturbances, the following intersections were blocked to traffic for periods of time: the Anchor Junction, the Bnei Dror Junction, the Pardesiyya Junction, and the Ra'anana Junction.
