A short while ago today (Sunday), a terrorist accelerated his vehicle towards IDF soldiers engaged in counterterrorism operations near Hizma, just outside Jerusalem. The assailant then drew a knife from his vehicle in an attempt to carry out a stabbing attack.

The soldiers swiftly neutralized the threat and successfully thwarted the attack.

No injuries to IDF personnel were reported.

This attempted attack near Hizma comes on the heels of a suspected ramming incident near Glilot that left at least 35 people injured
