Cleared for publication: Koren Bitan fell in battle in the Gaza Strip

Koren was operating with Battalion 450, part of the Bislamach Brigade (School for Infantry Corps and Squad Commanders).  May his memory be for a blessing and may his family be comforted with all of the mourners of Zion.

Sergeant Koren Bitan, 19 years old, from Rosh Ha'Ayin, a fighter in the 450th Battalion of the Bislah Brigade, was killed in battle in the southern Gaza Strip. His family has been notified

The IDF added: "He was promoted from the rank of corporal to the rank of sergeant after his death. The IDF shares in the family's grief and will continue to accompany it."
