Al-Mayadeen reported on Sunday afternoon that missiles were fired at an Iranian car factory in the industrial zone of Homs, Syria. The attack was quickly attributed to Israel by numerous Arabic networks.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights confirmed that explosions were heard in the southern rural area of Homs, while Saudi channel Al-Hadath reported that at least two missiles struck the plant, with other networks suggesting the number could be as high as four.

Syrian sources later clarified that the strike did not directly target the factory itself but instead hit vehicles in the vicinity, resulting in confirmed damage.

The attack occurred hours after a Hezbollah platoon commander, responsible for recent antitank fire on the Israeli town of Kfar Yovel that killed Barak Ayalon and his mother Mira, was eliminated in Lebanon.

Israeli Air Force jets, acting on Northern Command's directives, neutralized Hatzer Ali Tawil, the terrorist behind the launch of hundreds of rockets and antitank missiles into the Galilee.
