Amid reports of significant progress towards signing a ceasefire in the north, Iranian sources report that rescue, aid, and evacuation missions are already being prepared to arrive immediately in southern Lebanon and the Dahieh neighborhood to assist in evacuation and damage recovery.

According to the report by journalist and Middle East expert Yoni Ben Menachem, there is concern in Israel about the reports of Iranian delegations expected to arrive in Lebanon, as it is believed in Israel that the Iranians will use this to smuggle weapons and ammunition to Hezbollah.
