Throughout the morning and early afternoon, sirens were activated in several northern Israeli areas, alerting residents to incoming missiles and hostile aircraft.

The IDF later reported that the reservist sustained minor injuries from the shrapnel. "Between 13:07 and 13:08, sirens sounded in the Hacarmel, Wadi Ara, Ha'amakim, and Hamifratz regions, as approximately five projectiles were detected crossing from Lebanon into Israeli territory," the IDF stated. "Some of these projectiles were intercepted, and debris from the interception was found at Elyakim Junction."

"After pinpointing the launch site, the Israel Air Force targeted and destroyed the launcher responsible for firing the projectiles toward Elyakim."

The reservist was taken to a hospital for medical treatment, and his family has been informed of his condition.
