Following an uproar over her tweets claiming her brigade commander supports genocide and that religious Zionists are a "cult of death eaters," IDF mental health officer Adi Angert was summoned to a hearing and then dismissed from her position and her service in the division tonight (Tuesday).

The IDF said that Angert "expressed herself in a severe and inappropriate manner on social networks while in active reserve service. She was summoned to a command inquiry by the brigade commander. During the inquiry, the brigade commander made it clear that such serious statements have no place in the IDF. At the end of the inquiry, 91st Division commander Shai Kepler decided on her removal from her role and service in the division."
