The fighting in the north continues: Lebanese media reported this morning (Friday) on another wave of attacks at several locations in the south of the country. The reports come after the extensive wave of attacks carried out last night in the area, during which hundreds of launchers and thousands of launch barrels were destroyed.

According to the report on the "Al-Manar" network, associated with Hezbollah, airstrikes were recorded in the village of Kila and in Aitaroun in southern Lebanon. Meanwhile, the "Al-Mayadeen" network - also affiliated with Hezbollah - reported attacks in the Meis al-Jabal area.

Shortly after, Red Color sirens were heard in Safed, Metula, Meron, and other settlements in the Galilee and Golan, with reports indicating that about 150 rockets were fired from Lebanon towards Israel within an hour in three barrages. Footage published on social media showed numerous interceptions of dozens of launches, and several fires broke out in the Safed area.

The Israel Police reported that "reports were received a short time ago about several impacts at several locations in the Northern District. As a result of the impacts, several fires broke out that are currently being handled by firefighting forces, and a report was received of a lightly injured person (according to medical sources) who was evacuated for medical treatment. Police officers and police sappers from the district are currently at the scenes and scanning to remove risk to the public and deal with the impact sites. At this stage, damage is known to have been caused."

As mentioned, the IDF attacked dozens of locations and targets of the Hezbollah terrorist organization in southern Lebanon last night, with reports throughout the night of attacks in western Beqaa Valley, deep inside the country, in the Litani area, in the south of the country, as well as 36 attacks in Al-Mahmoudiya, also in the south of the country. In total, more than 50 attacks were reported.

According to the IDF spokesperson, Israeli Air Force fighter jets, guided by Military Intelligence and Northern Command, attacked hundreds of launch barrels that were ready for immediate launch into Israeli territory. According to them, starting from the afternoon hours, a total of about 100 launchers and additional military infrastructure were attacked, including about 1,000 launch barrels that were ready for immediate launch.
