Tension in the North Continues: IDF Attacked Six Areas in Southern Lebanon

An Israeli Air Force aircraft struck a building in the village of Kila after identifying a terrorist entering the location. Fighter jets attacked military buildings in six areas. The IDF notes that Hezbollah fired 120 rockets throughout the day, some of which were intercepted.

The IDF announced that earlier today, forces from Unit 869 identified a Hezbollah terrorist entering a military building of the organization in the Kila village area in southern Lebanon. In a rapid response, an Israeli Air Force aircraft struck the building where the terrorist was operating.

Additionally, Israeli Air Force fighter jets attacked military buildings used by the Hezbollah terrorist organization in the areas of Aitaroun, Kila village, Meis al-Jabal, Al-Taybeh, Al-Adaisseh, and Yaroun in southern Lebanon. Artillery fire was also conducted towards several areas in southern Lebanon.

Following the alerts activated in the Golan Heights, Safed, and Upper Galilee areas in recent hours, approximately 120 launches were identified crossing from Lebanese territory, some of which were intercepted by air defense fighters. In addition, several impacts of interception debris were identified in several areas. Firefighting forces are currently working to extinguish fires that broke out in several areas.

Following the alerts activated in the Meron and Netua areas at 13:56, about 20 launches were identified crossing from Lebanese territory. Some of the targets were intercepted by air defense fighters, and the rest fell in open areas. There were no casualties.
