Hamas Official Makes Cryptic Statement: "We Are Facing a Change"

A senior member of the murderous terrorist organization Hamas, Osama Hamdan, addressed the renewal of ceasefire talks, stating that "the resistance has not revealed all its capabilities."

Amid the resumption of ceasefire negotiations in Gaza, Hamdan remarked that "the resistance has not yet unveiled all its cards in the conflict." In an interview with Arab media, Hamdan said that "the nature of the conflict in recent months is facing a change and expansion, according to the interests of the resistance. Continued aggression does not mean a Palestinian victory, just as it signifies an increase in the level of challenge from the Palestinian side."

He added: "The impact of the recent developments is, of course, positive, as during the negotiations, Netanyahu and his government refuse to agree to a ceasefire. The mediators, Egypt and Qatar, have tried their efforts to achieve such a result, but on the other hand, the U.S. is not applying the necessary pressure on Israel in this regard."

Regarding the attack in Tel Aviv yesterday, Hamdan said: "The resistance initiated the attack yesterday in Tel Aviv. We are not asking for guarantees against a return to fighting but for a permanent cessation of the battle and aggression. We are not talking about guarantees. We are talking about explicit commitments from the enemy not to return to aggression against the Gaza Strip. We are talking about a full withdrawal of occupying forces from the Gaza Strip. We are talking about aid for refugees, the reconstruction of Gaza, the removal of the blockade, and of course—also about prisoner exchanges."
