Brazil deported a Palestinian man and his family after the United States tipped off Brazilian federal police that a "Hamas agent" was on his way to the South American country, Brazilian officials said Monday.

The leadership of Hamas have been reportedly kicked out of Qatar amid pressure for a ceasefire deal in Gaza. 

The National, an English language Emirati paper, reports that Hamas political leaders are planning to leave Qatar rather than yield to American pressure to agree to a hostage deal.

The American tech giant closed a deal with the Qatari telecom company Ooredoo despite US desire to limit AI to the region. 

The separate deal is reportedly meant to be conducted through Qatari intermediaries. Israel would not take part in the deal.

Hamas has said it will look "positively" at the proposal while Netanyahu has expressed a number of core reservations.

According to reports, the IDF's action was aimed at obtaining a PR image to "appease" Israel's right-wing ministers.

Israeli officials are said to be "suspicious" that the US provided Hamas guarantees that the the IDF would withdraw from Gaza following a hostage return.

The Prime Minister's Office announced that an Israeli delegation, headed by Mossad Director Dedi Barnea, would meet with the CIA Director, Qatari Prime Minister, and the Egyptian Intelligence Director with the aim of advancing a hostage deal.

Israel decided not to send a delegation to Cairo to continue the talks regarding the hostage deal after Hamas sent a reply to Qatar that did not include reference to the list of hostages

Qatari officials responded to reports of progress in negotiations for a hostage deal by saying that there was no breakthrough to report.

In an interview he gave to Kikar Hashabbat, Shas leader Aryeh Deri said that the current unity government may not be sustainable for long.

Reuters reports that Qatar will be hosting a summit later this week in order to advance a ceasefire in Gaza and free the hostages.

A month after medicines were sent via Qatar to the Gaza Strip for the hostages, the Qatari Foreign Ministry says Hamas has now started to distribute them.

According to reports in the global media, the emerging new deal between Israel and Hamas will involve the release of 100 hostages in exchange for a two-month ceasefire and an inclination towards a permanent agreement to end the conflict.

Senior Hamas figure Mousa Abu Marzook reveals that for every package of medications transferred to captives, a thousand packages will be provided for the residents of the Gaza Strip. Additionally, the trucks carrying the meds will not undergo security checks, and the aid will be increased.

The mediators in Qatar formulated another proposal which they intend to present today in the political-security cabinet, the proposal includes the deportation of the heads of Hamas, the release of all the abductees and the withdrawal of the IDF from the Gaza Strip.
