Photographer Oren Cohen (Flash 90), embedded with the IDF forces in Rafah documenting their engagements, including an UNWRA building destroyed as it was used as a terrorist base.

Cohen's lens captured three Israeli flags planted by soldiers on Rafah's beach, symbolizing Israeli control over the area.

Commander of the 932nd Battalion of the Nahal Brigade, Lt. Col. Dotan Malul, told Israel Hayom reporter Yehuda Schlezinger who went around Rafah together with Cohen: "We are on the way to victory, one step away from finishing off the enemy. They are no longer functioning. They are exhausted, depleted, inexperienced. It will take a little more time, but we are on our way to victory."
