Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar sent a letter today (Monday) to the Houthis, congratulating them on hitting Israel with what they claimed was a "hypersonic" missile and which was not fully intercepted by IDF defenses.

In the letter, Sinwar said that "the state of the resistance is good and it is preparing for a long war of attrition which will break the political will of the occupation as it broke its military will."

Sinwar also said that the joint efforts of the "resistance" in Lebanon, Yemen, and Iraq will defeat Israel and lead to its residents being expelled from the Palestinian homeland.

For their part, the Houthis claim that the missile was aimed at a defense facility in central Israel, which it missed entirely.

The IDF's initial inquiry into the incident revealed that defense systems did hit the missile, but failed to destroy it entirely as required. The matter is still being investigated.

May you soon see a missile up your rear end, Yahya.

I wouldn't want Sinwar as a friend though.
