According to Haaretz, the operation involved questioning dozens of suspects and confiscating 50 illegal vehicles along with weapons in Surif, where two wanted persons were apprehended. Additionally, four arrests were made in Beit Sira, and one in Kfar Aqab. In Jenin, two men were arrested and weapons were seized on Thursday morning. According to witnesses, Israeli forces searched several houses and shops in the city, with tensions running high since the war against Hamas broke out after the October 7th Massacre.

Since the conflict began, the IDF has apprehended 4,150 wanted individuals in the West Bank, including 1,750 linked to the terror organization, Hamas. Reports from residents of Jenin indicate that there has been gunfire exchanged between IDF soldiers and armed individuals in the city, following the entry of large military forces into the West Bank on Thursday morning.
