Hezbollah has declared a general mobilization following Israel's seizure of the Gaza-Rafah crossing, with the aim of deterring or at least preparing for an Israeli general offensive to remove the threat to its northern border, according to Lebanese news portal Naharnet.

According to the report, Hezbollah sources mentioned the terrorist organization's increasing use of what they called advanced weapons in order to prevent an expansion of the war.

Meanwhile Defense Minister Yoav Gallant held a situational assessment today (Wednesday) on the northern border, where he said Israel might have a "hot summer" and an expanded war in the north if the border war was not ended diplomatically.
