After the rocket fell in the kindergarten yard in Nesher, Home Front Command Chief, Major General Rafi Milo, and Haifa District Commander, Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Nahari, visited the site of the fall today (Wednesday) with the Mayor of Nesher, Mr. Roi Levy, and city representatives.
Additionally, the general met with the educational staff of the kindergarten that was affected by the fall yesterday and expressed his appreciation for the resourcefulness and responsibility the educational staff showed during the incident. Later, he also addressed the activities of the security and rescue forces and local authority representatives, emphasizing the importance of response speed, listening to life-saving instructions, and cooperation among all parties involved.
General Rafi Milu said during the meeting: "You are truly an exceptional example of conducting a war routine, which on one hand executes with discretion in a gradual, safe manner, really from a place of situational assessment, thinking, and planning. When you constantly see the confidence of the residents right before your eyes, it's very, very impressive. An opportunity to truly express appreciation, we will study and investigate the event that took place in the kindergarten, it is also an opportunity to commend the citizens, and finally hear the story about Sarah and soon we will visit her, but such conduct really saves lives, and it is a great pride, and I am very very happy that we have citizens and educators like these."
The mayor of Nesher, Mr. Roi Levy: "You give us a sense of security that we have someone to rely on, and of course, our team here in Nesher, the district, the command, full cooperation with everyone, ongoing dialogue at all hours and all times, and this is important to us for the sense of security and especially for our residents."
