Education Minister dedicates May to heroism of victims of October 7 and heroes of the war

The press release said that the purpose of the events to be held for this month is increasing national solidarity.

Following up on his awarding of the Israel Prize to individuals who demonstrated heroism and social solidarity on October 7, Education Minister Yoav Kisch has declared May to be a month devoted to the heroism of victims of October 7 and the soldiers fighting the war.

According to the ministry's statement, activities will include dialogue between different groups in Israeli society, stories of heroism from the past several months, and ceremonies of appreciation for educators and volunteers.
