The Israel Police released footage from the terrorist attack in Gan Yavneh last night (Sunday).

The footage shows one of the wounded running towards the police car for help. The officers begin to scan the area, identify the terrorist running towards them, stop his efforts to stab one of them, and eliminate him.

An investigation into the incident revealed that the terrorist, a resident of Judea and Samaria without residency permits, arrived at the commercial center of Gan Yavneh armed with two knives.

He started his stabbing spree attacking a young man leaving a gym. He then entered the gym and stabbed another young man. He then stabbed another on the ground floor.

A municipal policing team comprised of a police officer and an inspector, who received the distress calls, arrived on the scene in less than a minute and began to conduct sweeps. During their search, they noticed the terrorist running towards them and trying to stab them. The inspector managed to knock the terrorist away while the police officer took out his firearm and shot him until he was neutralized.

The three stabbing victims were evacuated to the hospital in serious condition.
