Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu met this morning (Thursday) with soldiers of Battalion 51 and Battalion 13 of the Golani brigade at an assembly area next to Gaza. The visit was accompanied by Golani Brigade commander Col. Yair Peli, Battalion 51 commander Lt.-Col. Meir Ohayon, and Battalion 13 commander Lt.-Col. Tomer Greenberg.
During the meeting, Netanyahu spoke with the soldiers and heard from them about their fighting spirit. He also heard from the Ground Forces Commander Maj.-Gen. Tamir Yadai on the difficult battles the battalions faced in the beginning of the fighting and on future preparations.

"I am here with the soldiers of Golani, they come from all over the country. They fought like lions, they will fight like lions,” Netanyahu told the soldiers. “We are going to win full force. The whole People of Israel is with you, and we will land the powerful blow to our enemies for us to achieve victory – to victory!”
