The London-based Qatari newspaper "Al-Araby Al-Jadeed" reported that two airstrikes were carried out overnight (Tuesday) in the area of the Al-Kalmun mountain range in Syria, which were apparently aimed at Hezbollah military posts in the area. The Syrian Center for Human Rights said that a number of dead and wounded were recorded in the attack.

According to the report, "the Israeli Air Force carried out two strikes against military outposts of the Syrian regime and Hezbollah, which caused a fire in one of them. The extent of the damage is unknown." The Syrian Ministry of Defense said that significant damage was caused to military buildings in the area due to the attack attributed to Israel, also claiming that Assad's army intercepted a number of Israeli missiles.

As a reminder, at the beginning of the month, Israel allegedly launched an attack aimed at three senior Iranian officials inside a building in the city of Baniyas in the Latakia district of western Syria. A day before, it was reported that a Hezbollah vehicle was attacked by an Israeli drone in the Al-Kazir area, killing one person.
