Siegal Jana Itzkovitz, the mother who murdered her 6-year-old son Liam was questioned by the police and reconstructed her actions that evening, at the end of the investigation it was claimed that "the mother was aware of her actions and planned them".

Siegel Yana Itzkovitz, the mother who murdered her 6-year-old son as well as their family dog with an axe in Herzliya, was questioned by the police. During the interrogation, she confessed to her actions, and told the investigators the sequence of events in detail. The police estimate is that "the suspect was aware of her actions and even planned them."

At the end of the investigation, she was referred to the district psychiatrist for examination, and at the same time the police are checking whether there are drug residues in her blood.

The Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court extended the detention of the mother suspected of murdering her 6-year-old son, and she will stay in detention for nine more days.

The mother, it was learned, was not present in the courtroom, and an official involved in the case said that "the suspect does not communicate and it is impossible to communicate with her." The mother, as mentioned, did not come to the hearing on the extension of her detention at the Magistrate's Court in Tel Aviv. Attorney Binyamin Malka, who represents the suspect, said before the hearing that "Unfortunately, this is a terrible tragedy. A family that lost their child."
