The incident involved supporters and opponents of the Eritrean regime. Law enforcement swiftly responded with a significant presence from the Tel Aviv-Jaffa branch, supported by officers from the Ayalon region and Salah patrollers from the Tel Aviv-Jaffa municipality. They utilized crowd dispersal techniques to quell the unrest. Eight individuals suspected of involvement in the violent altercation were apprehended.

Emergency Medical Services were summoned to multiple scenes of the conflict. MDA personnel, including senior medic Yehezkel Gutman and emergency medic Sheila Meiberg, described the chaotic scene where they provided critical care. They attended to a severely wounded individual with multiple penetrating injuries, applying emergency treatment to stop bleeding and alleviate pain before rushing him to the hospital in serious condition. Another victim received immediate resuscitation efforts and was also transported to the hospital in critical condition.

The Tel Aviv Police Station has initiated an investigation into the incident, following an assessment by district commanders at the site.
