A controversial video game being sold on a Canadian platform is drawing widespread condemnation for allowing players to simulate the October 7 massacre.
According to The National Post, the game, titled The Knights of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, was initially released two years ago. However, a recent update enables players to participate in the attacks as part of Hamas’s elite Nukhba force.
In the game's promotional video, an Arabic voice declares: “Where are the ones with the explosive belts? Where are they? Come here, I want a belt to blow myself up among the Zionists. It is a Jihad, a Jihad of victory or martyrdom.” The game reportedly portrays IDF soldiers in the same manner seen in Hamas propaganda videos.
Adding to the controversy, the game was offered at a steep discount during Black Friday sales, further amplifying public outcry. Many are calling for immediate action to remove the game and hold the platform accountable for promoting content that glorifies violence and terrorism.
