JERUSALEM: Haredi Education Head arrested over horrific sexual abuse allegations
The principal of a Haredi institution was arrested by officers from the Central Unit in the Jerusalem District on suspicion of abusing his students and committing sexual offenses against them in numerous cases over the years.


A Jerusalem educational leader is in custody following serious allegations of sexual abuse against students at a Haredi institution, according to Jerusalem District Police.
The suspect, described as a man in his 50s who serves as the head of a prominent ultra-Orthodox educational institution in Jerusalem, was arrested Tuesday evening by the Jerusalem District Central Unit following an extensive investigation.

The suspect's identity remains under a court-ordered gag order. He will appear in court tomorrow as police seek to extend his detention for continued investigation.
