Less than two weeks after it was officially launched for public travel, the red line of the light rail was closed as a result of a signaling system malfunction, according to a statement from the Tevel company that operates the line

The Tevel company, which operates the Dankal, the red line of the light rail in Tel Aviv, announced this morning that due to a malfunction in the signaling systems, the train will be shut down until the system is repaired.

Less than two weeks after its festive opening, a malfunction in the electronic systems has disrupted the Red Line of the light rail in Tel Aviv this morning.

The operating company of the railway announced this morning that due to a malfunction in the signaling systems on the line, train services will not be available, and passenger service will not resume until it is fixed.

At the Tevel company, which operates the line, they stated: "We apologize and are working diligently to restore full operation of the railway as soon as possible."

They also requested passengers to follow updates from the company on their website and through the applications.
