Defense Minister Yoav Gallant visited the western part of Gaza City today (Wednesday), stating that “there is no safe place for terrorists in Gaza. Those who think we are being delayed, will soon see that we reach everywhere.”
Gallant entered into the Gaza Strip with forces of the 162nd Division, conducting a situational assessment and observing efforts to open the maritime aid route, while taking note of the IDF’s current deployment in the sector.
At the completion of this assessment, Gallant thanked the soldiers, telling them that Gaza had ceased to be a shelter for terrorists: “I am now with the forces of the 162nd Division near the seashore of Gaza, at the end of the corridor. I met the battalion, brigade commanders and the division commanders – exceptional work is being done here above and below ground, the forces are reaching everywhere, and the conclusion is that there is no safe place for terrorists in Gaza.”
Those Involved In the Massacre Will Be Brought to Justice Or Eliminated
The Defense Minister stressed that Israel will reach every location containing those responsible for the October 7 massacre: “Even those who think we are being delayed will soon see that we reach everywhere. Everyone who was involved in the events of October 7 will be brought to justice – we will either eliminate them, or bring them to trial in Israel.”
He stated that “There is no safe place – not here, not outside of Gaza, and not throughout the whole Middle East. We will reach everyone where they are.”
He ended by addressing the issue of humanitarian aid: “this will soon be on the agenda with the expected landing of ships, a central issue which will allow supply to civilians and not to Hamas. Every such action weakens Hamas and strengthens our hold, and improves our ability to continue the war.”
