After the report that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu intends to absent himself from the state ceremony in memory of Yitzhak Rabin, the leader of the Labor Party, Merav Michaeli, responds to the expected decision.

"For a change, a good decision by Netanyahu. There is no reason for the person who incited against Rabin to attend the memorial ceremony for his murder. The ceremony will be more dignified and regal without him."

Yesterday (Monday), it was announced that the office of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu informed the organizers of the state ceremony in memory of former Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, z"l, that he will not attend the ceremony.

According to the report on News 12, officials from the Prime Minister's Office made it clear to the organizers that there is no need to reserve a place for him among the dignitaries at the memorial event, which will take place on the Hebrew date of the assassination next week. It was also reported that the officials in the Prime Minister's Office explained that his decision not to participate in the ceremony is due to the "politicization" that characterizes the event.
