Silman: 'What I saw a year and a half ago, today is seen clearly.'

Minister Silman bashed the left-wing activists who are protesting against Netanyahu in the US, and referred to her involvement in the overthrow of the previous government: "For those who wondered why I overthrew the left-wing government then, so what I saw a year and a half ago - everyone sees clearly today."

Environmental Protection Minister Idit Silman today (Monday) addressed the left-wing demonstrations against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during his visit to the US and responded to the many criticisms of her from the left, following her direct involvement in the overthrow of the previous government, as a member of the coalition in the party of the then Prime Minister, Naftali Bennett.

In a tweet that she published on her personal Twitter ('X') account, Silman began by referring to the fierce protest of the left in the US: "For those who still wonder why I overthrew the left-wing government and brought in the establishment of a right-wing government, look at the projections on the UN building that are inciting against Israel, and watch the heads of 'Brothers in Arms', They run from studio to studio, questioning the legitimacy of the IDF's actions."

The minister added and talked about her decision to topple the government: "What I saw a year and a half ago - everyone sees clearly today. Unfortunately, there are those who have crossed borders here and reached districts that did not look like them. And it is both amazing and painful to see that even now no one in the opposition is dissuading and condemning ".

In conclusion, she reported that she had also arrived in the USA and said: "I landed in the USA a little while ago, and now I am on my way to sign a very important memorandum of understanding, on which we worked hard. After that, I will hold a series of meetings, and participate in several environmental summits at the United Nations, where we will bring good news to all the houses of Israel".
