Ben Gvir's Answer to Lapid

A political boycott of Lapid? This is Ben Gvir's answer

Itamar Ben-Gvir "advised" his party candidates in local authorities not to cooperate with the Yesh Atid Party representatives in the coalition. The decision comes a day after a similar announcement by Yair Lapid

Following the announcement of the leader of the Yesh Atid party, Yair Lapid, to prevent any cooperation with representatives of the Otzma Yehudit party in local authorities, Minister of National Security Itamar Ben-Gvir issues a similar directive, even using the same wording as Lapid's statement, but in reverse.

"Itamar Ben-Gvir instructs all representatives and candidates of the Otzma Yehudit party in local lists not to form coalitions with Yesh Atid and to include in the coalition agreements a clear clause that they will not sit in a coalition with any council together with a Yesh Atid list."

As mentioned, the decision of the leader of the Otzma Yehudit party, Itamar Ben-Gvir, comes after a similar decision was made yesterday (Sunday) by the opposition leader Yair Lapid.

According to him, "Our mission is to build local coalitions with representatives who love the people of Israel and the State of Israel, which will preserve local governance as a strong fortress of local, Jewish, and democratic rule. Representatives who come to work for the residents and not to shame Israel in the world and call for disobedience, division among the people, and hatred among brothers."
