Against the backdrop of the struggle to promote legislation allowing the installation of security cameras in children's kindergartens, Coalition Chairman Ofir Katz (Likud) is launching a public campaign aimed against a fellow member of his party, Education Minister Yoav Kisch.

In a statement distributed on his behalf, a campaign was announced, run by the organization "The Struggle for the Children," demanding that the Minister of Education and the General Secretary of the Teachers' Association, Yaffa Ben-David, remove their opposition to the law concerning cameras in kindergartens.

Under the title "Kisch and Ben-David, If These Were Your Children?" and just before the start of the school year, the parents' struggle for amending the law regarding cameras in kindergartens intensifies. They are launching a new nationwide campaign that calls on Kisch and Ben-David not to oppose the amendment to the law on cameras in kindergartens, led by the coalition chairman, Ofir Katz.

"A struggle for the security of our children"

Street signs are displayed along dozens of main roads and routes between urban areas throughout the country, and the campaign is fully funded by donations, most of which come from parents who have been affected by incidents of abuse that their children experienced in kindergartens and daycare centers. They are demanding the passage of the proposed legislation in the upcoming session of the Knesset.

Alona Daniel, from "The Struggle for the Children": "We are in a battle for the safety of our children, we will not give up and we will not back down until Kisch and Ben David remove their opposition to the camera law in kindergartens. We will not be silenced with tailor-made public committees, or meaningless proposals. Our message is clear and unambiguous - the bill of the chairman of the coalition must pass, and we will not hesitate to take more drastic measures in the future."
