After a Turkish official claimed that Iran informed the US of the attack on Israel through a Turkish intermediary, Iranian Foreign Minister Nasser Kanaani denied that Tehran made agreements regarding the attack with any country.
Yesterday, the Reuters news agency reported that the United States sent a message to Iran through the Turkish intermediary, asking it to "guarantee that the attack remains within clear boundaries."
According to the report, Iran announced the attack in advance and was instructed by the United States on how to carry it out. Israeli officials suspect that the United States promised Iran that it would do everything in its power to prevent the Jewish State from responding to the strike.
