US and UK Strike Houthi Targets in Yemen

American and British forces struck Houthi targets throughout Yemen, including missiles and launchers in the capital of Sanaa, air defense systems and radars, and underground weapons stores.

The US and UK launched another strike last night (Tuesday) against additional Houthi targets in Yemen, according to US Central Command or CENTCOM.

According to reports, the strikes were carried out by fighter pilots and warships and submarines, launching eight Tomahawk missiles towards 8 Houthi missile warehouses and launchers in Sanaa. The attack was supported by Australia, Bahrain, Canada, and Holland.

The CENTCOM statement read: "These strikes from this multilateral coalition targeted areas in Houthi-controlled Yemen used to attack international merchant vessels and U.S. Navy ships in the region. The targets included missile systems and launchers, air defense systems, radars, and deeply buried weapons storage facilities."
