Thailand: Foreign Workers Will Be Released Soon

Thailand claims its citizens will be freed from Hamas captivity soon. Living proof of Thai captives was sent to the government in Bangkok and confirmed by Iran.

Thai Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin addressed the issue of the captives in Gaza today (Monday), with 24 of them being Thai citizens. He noted that those with Thai citizenship were set to be freed in the near future.

According to a report by the Thai paper Nation, Thavisin noted that there is living proof of Thailand’s citizens being held by the terrorist organization in the Strip. It also reported that those with Thai citizenship were set to be released soon thanks to Malaysian mediation and after Tehran confirmed the information.

Senior Thai Source: “Hamas is waiting for the right time”

Areepen Uttarasin, a lead negotiator for the release of the Thai citizens, stated that the hostages are alive and that Hamas is waiting for the right time to free them.
