Israeli Air Force fighter jets struck a Hezbollah facility housing medium-range rockets in southern Lebanon Thursday, according to an IDF spokesperson. The military action came in response to identified terrorist activity at the site.

This incident marks one of the first reported strikes since the implementation of the ceasefire, highlighting ongoing tensions in the region despite diplomatic efforts to maintain stability along the Israel-Lebanon border.

The military did not provide specific details about the extent of damage to the facility or potential casualties. The situation in southern Lebanon continues to be monitored closely by Israeli defense forces.

As reported by Doron Kadosh, security sources confirmed that the target was located north of the Litani River near Sidon.

While intelligence did not indicate immediate launch preparations, the facility housed medium-range rockets capable of striking Israeli cities from Haifa to Tel Aviv. Hezbollah's presence at the facility was deemed a "non-immediate threat" and the IDF decided that take preemptive steps to prevent rocket fire.
