"The IDF attacked Hezbollah's largest precision missile production site."
Air Force fighter jets, guided by the Intelligence Directorate, attacked yesterday (Tuesday) in the Janata area of the Beqaa Valley in Lebanon the largest precision missile component production site of the terrorist organization Hezbollah.
Missilesunderground site, which is approximately 1.4 kilometers long, ground-to-ground missiles and components of various weapons systems were produced, and precision weapons intended to strike the State of Israel were also stored.
The site is located in an underground complex near the Syrian border. Due to its proximity, the site served as a central point through which thousands of weapon components and even operatives were smuggled from Syria and Lebanon.
In the hours leading up to the site's attack, several strikes were carried out in the area to thwart operatives and destroy the site's peripheral infrastructure. Among the targets, a central camp of the 'Radwan Force' unit, where the unit's operatives were staying, was attacked. In the camp, training and preparations of the operatives were carried out, aimed at executing the "Conquest of the Galilee" plan.
Hezbollah's production capability in Lebanon has been built over the past decade with Iranian support as a mechanism to arm the terrorist organization with precision missiles, following several attempts by Iran to smuggle precision missiles to Hezbollah that were thwarted by Israel. As part of this effort, several production and conversion sites were established throughout Lebanon, with the site attacked yesterday being the central one.
In recent years, Hezbollah has begun to build and operate this site, with Iranian assistance and collaboration.
At the site, Iranian operatives worked alongside Lebanese Hezbollah operatives.
This is the most strategic production infrastructure of the Hezbollah terrorist organization in Lebanon that was attacked during the war. The attack was made possible due to an accurate intelligence dossier that was collected and built over the years.
This attack constitutes a blow to the production capacity of the terrorist organization Hezbollah's weaponry, which has been severely impacted in recent months.
