Air Force fighter jets, guided by the Intelligence Division, attacked earlier this evening (Monday) the crossing points of the Syrian regime along the Syria-Lebanon border, which were used to transfer weapons to the terrorist organization Hezbollah.
The targeting of the routes constitutes an additional layer in the IDF's activities in recent weeks, aimed at disrupting the transfer routes of arms by the Syrian regime along the Syria-Lebanon border. The strikes are focused on thwarting the capabilities of Hezbollah's Unit 4400 – responsible for transferring weapons used to carry out terrorist attacks against the Israeli home front and IDF forces.
The IDF further emphasized that it will continue to act decisively to thwart Hezbollah's buildup of weaponry that threatens the citizens of the State of Israel.
Hezbollah, with the support of the Syrian regime, continues to exploit civilian infrastructure for terrorist activities. These attacks are part of an ongoing effort to disrupt the organization's operational capabilities and ensure Israel's security.
